Chairman's Lunch 2017 - Case Study

Updated: Jul 10, 2020

The Event

The annual Chairman’s Lunch is one of Sydney Hills Business Chamber major events. The yearly event is a high-level update of the Hills district with local, state and federal government officials providing great insight into the region. In 2017, the chamber was honoured to host Gladys Berejiklian, Premier of NSW as the guest speaker. The theme, “Vision for the Hills”

The Brief

Our brief was to inform the members and guests of the growing infrastructure and building within the area. From Castle Towers proposed 911million rebuild (set to be second biggest shopping centre in Australia) to the 52.9% population growth by 2036. Our team was to put together a panel of experts including representatives from Norwest Raillink, Sydney Metro, Planning NSW and Hills Shire Council.

The Experience

Guests were given quick access at registration and greeted with pre-drinks and canapes. With our yearly, ‘Orange’ theme to represent a new start in the region, the colour is also the chambers primary brand. Enter the room to a 200-attendee banquet event with beautiful green, white and orange floral arrangement and orange seat placement cards and menus. A three-course lunch experience that literally had our guests senses open. A two-hour content driven event that commenced with the chairman’s address followed by the premier. A captivating and thought driven panel discussion with highlights from Dr Ed Blakely.
